{REVIEW} A Bonne’ Miracle Spa Milk Shower Salt + Lycopene

This is one of the products that I bought last month while we were having our grocery because my previous shower salt has been used up already. I didn’t know who used up that one. I think that product was the A Bonne Double Collagen one. I threw already the bottle so I can’t give the proof that I have one but I’ll semi compare the Double Collagen version to this Miracle Shower Salt + Lycopene.

Their product claims to give natural firming, whitening and smooth & radiant skin. At first you’ll be like “is this even serious or possible?”

Let’s take a look first of their description at the back

This is a Home Spa product for bathing and indulging yourself. Its selected salt grains content when scrubbing. It effectively exfoliates weathered skin cells without irritation and opens up new ones of brightened, smooth and radiant look. With Tomato Extract which is rich in Lycopene. It helps fight free radicals and prevents wrinkles. Keeping the skin soft and smooth.

MILK PROTEIN moisturizes skin rendering it irresistibly soft, smooth and supple.

NANO WHITE GLUTATHIONE reduces dark spots and slows down pigmentations; lightens skin tone naturally.

KOJIC prevents melanin formation, conditions skin so that freckles and dark spots gradually fade away.

TOMATO EXTRACT is rich with LYCOPENE, which fights free radicals, prevents wrinkles, keeping skin soft and smooth

Directions: Squeeze a generous amount and apply onto moist skin. Massage gently in circular motion to remove dead skin cells, then rinse with water.

Previously, the product that I use was the Double Collagen which is salt only unlike this one. It’s creamy with a lot of salt (it’s called Himalayan Salt -said by the packaging)

What I like about this product:

  • My skin feels like it’s not “over scrubbed” when I use this cause some salt melts due to the cream
  • I love massaging the product to my skin! And it gives this immediate glow after a few scrub
  • You can easily spread the product
  • It lightens my skin and some of my dark spots
  • It gives you moisture after rinsing off the product (it may be uncomfortable for others because you may think that the product is still there but it’s not)

What I don’t like about this product:

  • The tube’s caps. It won’t easily close unless you put pressure on the center
  • Didn’t notice firming of the skin
  • These are the kinds of products that you have to use frequently (around 2-3 times a week) to see visible results —I added this to my cons because sometimes I forget to scrub my body with this product

What I wish would happen after a few months:

  • No more uneven skin tone especially in my knees
  • The ‘natural firming’ I guess
  • Dark spots are gone
  • My previous thigh scar be lighten or better yet, be gone lol

I really love how it gives immediate glow after scrubbing your body. You can really see the difference of your unscrubbed part to the scrubbed part.

See that difference? *v*

I would suggest this to those who would like to whiten and also exfoliate their body. I don’t really recommend using this as an exfoliator for your face because the salt might be too harsh for your skin.

Recommend? Definitely! It’s a must try for a Php 199 *i-think

Repurchase? I would love to!

What do you think of my review of this product? Did this post helped you?

Dry, Dull and Chapped Lips? CURE them!

When I said CURE, what I mean is to use the famous exfoliator in Japan. Yes, it’s CURE Natural Aqua Gel! And yes, as a lip exfoliator.

With its gentle ingredients, I tried what I have read from the internet which is the use of CURE Natural Aqua Gel as your lip exfoliator. I was skeptical at first but when I tried it, it was worth it. My dull lips became pinkish after exfoliating.

What I like the most is exfoliating — especially my lips! My lips are very dull and chapped so exfoliating is really a MUST to achieve the pinkish and moisturized lips.

Here’s how you use CURE Natural Aqua Gel as your lip exfoliator.

I advise to make sure that your lips is dry (without lipstick, lipbalm or anything on your lips) wash it first with clean water then pat it dry.

Genuinely poor or not?

I know this is pretty much a random post for my blog. Not related to beauty, skincare, gaming or art but I’m just here to share my thoughts or whatsoever. So I actually came across a post on Facebook regarding beggars. Okay, before you bash me.. I’m not against beggars but I’m against people who are using beggars for their modus operandi.

There are so many beggars in Manila. As a student of a pontifical and royal university in Manila, that’s what I have observed. There were so many dirty children wearing dirty clothes with their dirty parents. Childrens who just cross the street not being aware of the “GO” signal even though we all know that cars in Manila feels like they’re always rushing for work.

I always feel disturbed of open area eateries near our university because so-called ‘beggars’ can easily invade the place. I don’t mind giving to the poor but I’ll never hand out my penies. If there was something I will only give, it’ll be food.

One time while my mom and dad are on their way to my grandfather’s house, they have to stop because of the stoplight. There was a beggar who knocked at the window and begged for some coins. Since my mom was eating a piece of bread at that time, she handed out the bread to the beggar. Guessed what the beggar said. “No” When I heard that from my mom, I was like “wtf?”

I remembered what my theology 1 professor told us. I’m just going to tell this in english because I’m having a hard time to translate it: Kung sinasabi ng ibang tao na wala ng sapat na lugar o matitirhan ang mahihirap ay doon kayo nagkakamali. He said that Philippines is so big for them not to fit. It was because they’re trying to fit themselves in Manila even if they can actually fit in other places —- CAUSE they think if they’re in Manila, they might have a chance to be able to live there.

My point here is I don’t know anymore if that person is genuinely poor or not. What if he’s being used to get sympathy and money by rich people? Anyway, if you have tips, I’ll appreciate it.

I’m gonna say this again to avoid misunderstanding… I’m not against poor people! I’m just having a hard time to trust if they’re genuinely poor or not. Whether this post is real or not, it still makes me sick…

Meeting the Parents

May 1 was one of the happiest day of my life. Wonder why? Because (1) after a few weeks, I finally met my honey again, (2) he went to Laguna to meet my parents and also relatives and (3) he bought J.CO! Kfufufufu.

I woke up early around 7:30 AM to call him. Yes, he made me his own alarm clock —- that doesn’t stop. I called him for around 40 to 50 minutes NONSTOP! And I even texted his mom to wake him up cause damn it’s freaking 7:30 AM. I usually wake up around 11 or 12 PM because I sleep late. Blame Dragon Nest!!

It was Labor day so that was the reason why my honey was able to arrive early than I expected. My dad agreed that we’ll pick him up at Jollibee —-whiiiich I’m glad he’s fine about it but eventually he said that he’ll ride by himself when RJ is about to go home. When we were there at Jollibee, I feel like when I’m looking at him there are glitters and sparkles everywhere PLUS roses! (What, this ain’t anime!) I almost got distracted — I mean, I must not be cuddle-ish. (is that even a word? ~.~)

When we’re already on the way to our home, I’m trying to resist the urge to laugh. I don’t know why but have you ever felt like you’re so happy and you feel like you’ll going to ROFLMAO. Naahh, I’m just… super happy at that time. After the few supposed-to-be-visiting times, he’s finally here to face them. If I say “THEM”, even my relatives from my father’s side. I can actually feel the awkwardness when he arrived lol. My tita and tito were all quiet instead of laughing their asses off but yet I’m glad that they cooperate and behaved. Even there was tension, all of them were still behaved. I never left my honey’s side because if I did they might approach him and ask weird questions. Me and RJ even talked about what to say if they asked this and that.

Look at him… eating at sitting like he’s the boss! Lol. :)
I took this photo as a proof that he really visited our home. If you notice we’re not using the dining table set (or wutevah), it’s because that is mom’s workplace. Inshort, it’s for display if there are visitors! Hahaha
For the food, we have rice (of course), lumpia, sinigang na baboy, my mom’s famous chicken, fish salad aaand I actually forgot the last one. I think it was morcon?
Fish salad by my mom.
My mom was so proud of her fish salad (lapu lapu), she posted it on Facebook and got 13 likes. It does looks yummy. I wasn’t able to taste it because I don’t like the taste of mayonnaise.

After a few hours, mom opened the box of J.CO that RJ bought for us. When I saw people getting some donuts from the box I’m like Nooooooooooooooo… I was so glad there was this LAST piece of Alcapone, my favorite flavor. I told him to get more Alcapone next time huhu.

Anyway, that’s all. May 1 was such a great day and it feels like it will be in the incoming days!
